What is your role in the Department of Internal Medicine?
I am privileged to be a part of the Mistry Lab, doing benchwork on risk factors for Parkinson’s disease in patients with Gaucher disease.
Why did you decide to work at Yale School of Medicine (YSM)?
YSM has great facilities and is convenient to home.
How did you become interested in your line of work?
This type of work enables me to use my degree in biology.
Tell us about a project you are particularly proud of.
I developed a mouse model with consistent neural Gaucher disease.
What do you enjoy most about working at Yale?
The flexibility.
What is a fun fact about you?
I grow Christmas trees, which take about 8 years to grow.
