Overview
Reshma Narula, MD, is a neurologist specializing in vascular neurology. She primarily treats patients with cerebrovascular disease, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, carotid artery disease, cryptogenic strokes (strokes of unknown cause), patent foramen ovale (a small opening in the heart that didn't close the way it should after birth), and vascular malformations of the brain.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Narula is an associate professor of neurology at Yale School of Medicine. She also serves as program director for the Yale Neurovascular Fellowship Program and the director of diversity and inclusion for the Department of Neurology.
Dr. Narula completed her medical degree at New York Medical College. She then pursued an internship in internal medicine, a residency in neurology, and a fellowship in vascular neurology, all at Yale School of Medicine.
