Gary L. Bernardini, MD, PhD

Gary L. Bernardini, MD, PhD, is a neurologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions affecting the brain, spine, and nervous system. He provides care for patients experiencing symptoms such as headaches, seizures, movement disorders, and stroke. Dr. Bernardini works with individuals to create personalized treatment plans aimed at managing symptoms, improving quality of life, and preventing complications.

As chief of neurology and director of the stroke center at Bridgeport Hospital, Dr. Bernardini also serves as a leader in patient care and clinical program development. His work focuses on advancing neurological care and supporting patients with complex or urgent neurological needs.
