Dr. Guilday specializes in the assessment of individuals with epilepsy. She primarily works with patients undergoing pre-surgical evaluations, but also sees referral questions surrounding aging with epilepsy, cognitive side effects of seizure medications, PNEE, etc. Additional clinical interests include neuro-oncology, neurodegenerative disorders, and movement disorders.
Research
Dr. Guilday's research interests broadly include the assessment and treatment of epileptiform disorders, modifiable factors affecting seizure/cognitive outcomes, and language lateralization. Recent projects included the use of fMRI and neuropsychological measures to examine language organization in early onset epilepsy.
