Aditya Boddu

Aditya Vikram Boddu, M.D. is an assistant professor of neurology at the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Boddu graduated from Gandhi Medical College in Secunderabad, India, in 2015, where he received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.). He then moved to the United States to pursue his residency in neurology at the University of Missouri where he graduated as chief resident in 2020. He was the Edmond J. Safra Fellow in Movement Disorders at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed his fellowship in 2022 following which he joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences as faculty.

Dr. Boddu is a movement disorders specialist with clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, Huntington’s disease, dystonia, ataxia, myoclonus, tremor, gait disorders and neurodegenerative disorders. He is trained in deep brain stimulation programming and the administration of botulinum toxin. He has been involved in clinical trials for Parkinson's disease. He is also invested in the teaching and education of neurology trainees and was recently awarded the American Academy of Neurology's A.B Baker Teacher Recognition Award.

Dr. Boddu enjoys the practice of movement disorders where he has found that a well-trained and compassionate physician can have a significantly positive impact on the patient’s life. He joins the Yale movement disorders team and is thrilled to participate in the care of patients, education of future physicians and clinical research.
