Research Training in Functional Disability Interventions
Mission
To provide post doctoral fellows (MD or PhD) research training in interventions research that affects the functional lives of people with psychiatric disabilities.
Examples of Research Conducted by Fellows:
- Cognitive remediation
- Social cognitive interventions
- Interventions to reduce homelessness
- Brain imaging (MRI, fMRI, EEG) as pre-post assessment
- Interventions in early psychosis
- DBT to reduce suicidality in children
- Racial disparities in foster care
- Parenting skills for mothers with psychosis
Who is eligible?
Individuals who have completed their M.D., D.O., or Ph.D. in a health related field and are interested in a career in academic medicine.
