Academic year 2024-25 salaries for those in the core residency program:

A new $3,000 “discretionary component” of salary replaced the Education Fund and gives residents and fellows flexibility in terms of how to apply this increase from each paycheck depending on personal needs and goals such as for education, childcare, and loan payments.

Residents are eligible to obtain personal and family health benefits at no cost through the Yale Health Plan, which provides care for students, employees, and faculty of Yale University. Other commercial health insurance plans are also available.

Disability benefits are provided for all residents at no charge.

The residency program will reimburse you for your Connecticut license in the PGY3 and 4 year.
