Biography

Caroline Black, MD, is a pediatric emergency medicine physician dedicated to acute care and management of pediatric emergencies that range from simple viral and bacterial infections to medical and surgical emergencies such as appendicitis, obstructions, and orthopedic reductions. In her role, she offers swift and methodical care for patients ranging 0 to 21 years old as well as support for patient families during these, sometimes, nerve-wracking visits. Dr. Black completed pediatric residency at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in 2016. She then went on to complete a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in 2019 and has been an assistant professor practicing at Hackensack University Medical Center prior to joining Yale New Haven Health.
