Biography

Alyssa Tuozzoli, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant (PA). She is a 2013 graduate of the Duquesne University Physician Assistant Program. After graduating, she joined the surgical float team at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Tuozzoli provides care to surgical patients at both the York Street and Chapel Street campus. Her clinical interests are vast and include trauma/emergency/general surgery, thoracic surgery, colorectal surgery, minimally invasive/bariatric surgery, surgical oncology, endocrine surgery, and plastic & reconstructive surgery. She is also certified in robotic surgery.

Alyssa maintains active membership with the American Academy of Physician Assistants and enjoys participating in global medical mission trips. Tuozzoli notes that she especially enjoys practicing evidence-based medicine by staying up-to-date with the literature.

In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time outside with her husband and dogs and loves to garden.
