Azza Hussein

Azza Hussein is a second-year master’s student at the University of New Haven where she is earning a degree in Community Psychology with a concentration in Research and Evaluation. She is a graduate research assistant for the Community Psychology program, and a Youth Leadership Coordinator at IRIS, where she works to empower and support adolescent refugee girls by engaging in activities that center around self and community advocacy.

Azza is also working as an intern with Dr. Crusto and Dr. Childs to help support the development and evaluation of the GROW curriculum.
