The Yale Program for Obesity, Weight and Eating Research (P.O.W.E.R.) is a clinical-research program dedicated to the study of eating behaviors and thoughts. Yale POWER aims to develop and improve treatments for eating disorders and obesity. The majority of Yale POWER’s programs are for adults with binge-eating disorder and/or obesity. However, there are two additional focus areas: POWER Child Eating and Weight Initiatives and POWER Bariatric Surgery Research Initiatives.
Our research is internationally recognized, and we have active studies in the following topics:
