Biography

Zihan is interested in investigating the effect of emotional states on memory, particularly through the dopaminergic system, using pupillometry and brain imaging. In this regard, his cat's name is 'dopa'.

Zihan received his bachelor of science degree at The Ohio State University in 2022 and went on to obtain his master's degree in psychology from the University of Chicago in 2023. During his undergraduate, he worked with Dr. Julie Golomb on the influence of background scenes on object-location binding. As a master student, he worked with Dr. Yuan Chang Leong on the prediction of dynamic affective states in naturalistic settings.
