Callie is a pre-doctoral fellow at Yale Teen POWER, and a fourth-year student in the University of South Alabama's Combined Clinical-Counseling Doctoral Program. She received a M.S. in Psychology in July 2023 after completing her thesis, which focused on the mediating role of gender role discrepancy stress and moderating role of BMI on the relationship between internalized body ideals and body dissatisfaction. Prior to completing her M.S., she received a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Women's Studies at the University of Florida. Her research interests focus on how gender roles and perceptions of masculinity/femininity impact individual well-being and experiences of mental illness, particularly issues of body image and disordered eating. Currently, she is working as a predoctoral fellow at Yale Teen POWER, conducting clinical research for teens with eating disorders at Yale School of Medicine.
