Class of 1998: 15th Reunion

Tamar Braverman practices Internal Medicine in Hamden, Conn., never having strayed far from the YSM nest. Because she likes to support other members of the medical community, she took up figure skating at 40. This activity, along with skiing and running, has resulted in numerous trips to the orthopaedist. Her two daughters are active in gymnastics, music, and drama, and her husband Michael continues to work too hard as a VP of bioinformatics for Roche. She has room for guests in her Woodbridge home, and welcomes anyone bringing chocolate.

Sujatha Charlu practices adult and child psychiatry in Manhattan, where she lives with her husband and her two train-obsessed little boys. Her office is right across the street from Greg Raskin's home in the West Village, but she doesn't think Greg knows this yet.

When not updating classmates on the police logs involving former YSM grads, Dan Coghlin is a practicing pediatric hospitalist at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, R.I. He is the proud husband of Barb McGee (M.D. '97) and dad of Molly, 10, and Henry, 8. They live in Saunderstown, R.I., which is a fun place to visit in the summertime!

In a quest for happy living, Naomi Donnelley, her husband Joe, and their three kids—Mairead, Carys, and Fisk—left the Chicago winters and spent the past two years in Santa Barbara. While it was fabulous, it was not their final destination. They are moving to Stephen Colbert's hometown of Charleston, S.C., where Naomi will join a dermatology practice, hang out with her sister and family (who are now locals), visit their family property in the countryside, and build a home on the beach of Sullivan's Island (next to Stephen Colbert). Come visit, y'all.

Lori Etter practices dermatology in Durham, N.C. In her spare time, she sings show tunes with her husband and six-year-old daughter.

Matthew Levine is an abdominal transplant surgeon at Penn and CHOP and is running a (small) basic science research lab. His lousy schedule is tolerated by his saint-like wife Leslie and two slightly-less-saintly but wonderful boys Robert and Max, who claim to have defeated the Donnelley children in the soon to be traditional Yale reunion DIRT FIGHT on the Harkness lawn.

Ruth Potee is a rural family doctor in Greenfield, Mass. She went to Yale hoping to be a small-town doctor and now has the pleasure of diagnosing rashes at Stop & Shop, giving vaccines at patients' houses, and managing addiction throughout the county.

Childsy Robinson Art is living in Williamstown, Mass., with her husband Jamie and daughters Maddy and Annabelle. She is a general pediatrician and partner at Northern Berkshire Pediatrics, in nearby North Adams. They are looking for another one or two doctors, so if you're interested in quaint, small-town living and general pediatrics, look her up!

Lisa Suter, suffering from profound failure to launch, remains in the New Haven area, practicing rheumatology and contemplating raising chickens with her husband Lindsay and two boys.

Meena Thayu left the GI Division of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia last year and now works in the Immunology division at Merck, currently focusing on a Phase III trial in psoriasis. She lives in Bryn Mawr, Penn., with her husband Eric, 6-year-old daughter Anna, and 2½-year-old son Alex. She dreams of dressing up in those tie dye shirts we made for the show and singing "Romula" at the next reunion!

Ashley Wivel lives in the idyllic suburbs of Philadelphia with her 7-year-old son Jackson and her husband Jason. One of the awesome things about living there is getting to see her son and Matt Levine's kids get to stir up trouble whenever they get together. She works on drug development for GlaxoSmithKline and just for fun is returning to clinical practice a half day a week on the Emergency Department at Penn.
