Biography

Dr. Chungsoo Kim is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Section of Cardiovascular Medicine and Yale/YNHH Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE) from March 2024.

Dr. Kim received his PharmD degree from Ajou University College of Pharmacy in the Republic of Korea. Afterward, he earned his PhD in Biomedical Informatics from the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Graduate School of Medicine at the same university.

Dr. Kim's research interests are based on using real-world data to build a healthier world together. The first is to generate a reliable evaluation/evidence of the effectiveness and safety of medications based on various sources (EHR, claims, registries, etc) and format (source, OMOP, etc) of real-world data. The second is to apply artificial intelligence/digital health methodologies to clinical practices and medication evaluation.
