BD FACSAria in the LEPH building

Location: Room 901B at 60 College Street

  • The LEPH BD FACS Aria II is contained in a Baker BioProtect IV Biological Safety Cabinet.
  • It has355 nm, 405nm, 488nm, 532nm, and 640nm lasers for up to 15-colors.
  • The LEPH Aria is capable of up to 4-way tube collection, plate deposition, and single cell deposition.
  • The LEPH Sorter can sort BSL-1, BSL-2, and BSL-3 cells.

The sorter is available for all types of sorts, but those wishing to use it have to complete these minimal requirements:

  1. Have YARC Approval for Animal Handling (or Complete a Medical Surveillance Form, see YARC website)
  2. Complete a tour of the LEPH Facility
