The Yale Institute for Global Health is committed to serving the needs of all Yale faculty who are interested in or already working in the field of global health.

Global Health Spark Awards
Created to support preliminary steps as YIGH-affiliated faculty identify, coordinate, and/or prepare for global health projects.
Hecht Global Health Faculty Network Award
The Hecht Global Health Faculty Network Award is designed to promote new research and programs in global health at Yale.
Global Health Education Innovation Award
The Global Health Education Innovation Award grants up to $10,000 for faculty-led projects advancing global health education, with four awards in 2025 across Yale’s health schools.
CIRA Pilot Projects in HIV Research
The Center for Interdisciplinary Research on AIDS (CIRA) at Yale University supports innovative research through the Pilot Projects in HIV Research Program.
