    2025 Leadership in Global Health Fellows

    Sian Auer, MPH ’26: Sian will work at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to identify opportunities at the nexus of climate, health, and law. He will focus on the key interactions between these domains, including legal precedents, international agreements, and nascent applications at global, regional, and sub-national levels. In this role, he will contribute to policy design, programs, and partnerships contributing to dynamic healthcare solutions.

    Emma Bebarta, MPH ’26: Emma will work with UNICEF in the Maternal Newborn Adolescent Health Unit of the Health Section in the Programme Division. She will engage in implementation research, prepare policy and advocacy briefs, coordinate with key global health stakeholders, and contribute to position papers and recommendations for improving health interventions at the global and country levels.

    Aiwen (Erin) Chen, MPH ’26: Erin will work at UNICEF Headquarters in the Maternal Newborn Adolescent Health Unit of the Health Section in the Programme Division. She will engage in documentation of best practices, implementation research, data mapping, intervention feasibility and effectiveness assessment, and knowledge product development. Her responsibilities will include qualitative and quantitative data analysis, report preparation, advocacy material development, and stakeholder coordination at global, regional, and country levels.

    Ming Cheng Yap, MPH ’26: Ming will work at UNICEF on climate-resilient sanitation as part of UNICEF's broader WASH efforts. He will document the implementation of the Climate Resilient Sanitation Coalition workplan, contribute to advocacy efforts in global climate discussions, and develop case studies on implementing the Green Climate Fund’s guidelines on climate-resilient sanitation.

    Zoey Duan, BA ’26: Zoey will work at the World Bank as an Analyst supporting the climate and health agenda in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). She will provide analytical support for refining diagnostic tools and identifying key performance metrics to highlight climate-resilient health system exemplars in LMICs.

    Bernard Frempong, MPH ’26: Bernard will intern with UNICEF’s Adolescent, School, and Mental Health team at headquarters in New York. He will support implementation research, data analysis, and documentation of best practices from country-level programs. He will also assist in developing knowledge products and advocacy materials and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure evidence-based and inclusive programming.

    Amy Guan, MPH ’26: Amy will work at UNICEF focusing on Climate-Resilient WASH in Schools (CR WinS) and School Health and Nutrition. She will support stakeholder mapping, review CR WinS guidance, analyze tools and standards, and document case studies and lessons learned from CR WinS and School Health Nutrition and WASH programs.

    Pranjali Gupta, MPH ’26: Pranjali will work at UNDP with the HIV, Health, and Development team. She will examine how countries use UNDP-supported health investment cases to mobilize resources, prioritize actions, and assess ROI for prevention. She will align costed plans with budgets and identify opportunities for further analysis to strengthen UNDP’s guidance.

    Hana Hamdi, MSN ’26: Hana will work toward advancing equitable and trauma-informed reproductive care while completing her degree in Nurse-Midwifery. With a BS in Biomedical Engineering and MPH in Epidemiology, she brings experience in program evaluation and needs assessments in Jordan, Senegal, New York City, and Uganda. Her previous roles include Clinical Data Analyst at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York and public health researcher in maternal health and equity.

    Julianne Harwood, BA ’26: Julianne will work at the World Bank as a Climate and Health Agenda Analyst. She will provide analytical support through literature reviews, data analysis, and evidence synthesis to identify exemplary health interventions in LMICs.

    Ericka Kamanou-Tenta, MPH ’26: Ericka will intern with UNICEF as part of the Promoting Hand Hygiene in Communities initiative. She will support implementation of global hygiene guidelines through research, synthesis of workshop findings, and development of setting-specific fact sheets to promote behavior change.

    Joselito Malca Hernández, MPH ’26: Joselito will work at The Global Fund in Geneva as a Health Systems Analysis Fellow. His project will analyze health systems capacity using facility data from select LMICs, support technical reporting, and contribute to a publication evaluating oxygen system investments in collaboration with Build Health International and Yale School of Public Health.

    Rei Marshall, MPH/MBA ’27: Rei will work at UNDP on national health investment cases. She will assess health and economic impacts of climate policies by applying financial, policy, and population health analysis to demonstrate long-term value and government cost savings.

    Olivia McCarthy, MPH ’26: Olivia will work at Gavi as the Public Policy Engagement Fellow in Policy Analysis and Global Advocacy. She will analyze public policy, position Gavi’s priorities, support advocacy material development, and assist in stakeholder mapping and research.

    Yosra Raziani, PhD ’27: Yosra will intern with UNICEF HQ in the Adolescent, School, and Mental Health team. She will support global adolescent mental health initiatives through best practices documentation, data analysis, knowledge product development, and stakeholder engagement.

    Grace Williams, MPH ’26: Grace will work at Gavi as the Public Policy Engagement Fellow in Country and Regional Advocacy. She will conduct policy analysis, map stakeholders, support advocacy initiatives, and contribute to drafting policy briefs and reports for key audiences.

    Casey Wells, MPH ’25: Casey will work at UNDP in New York as a Fellow with the HIV and Health Community of Practice. She will identify and highlight successful global public health interventions and support cross-country learning to promote resilient and equitable health systems.

    Jessica Yu, BA/BS–MPH ’27: Jessica will work at UNICEF Headquarters as a Menstrual Health and Hygiene Fellow. She will map stakeholders, help develop a menstrual product database, analyze indicator frameworks, draft a monitoring framework, and compile best practices to support global MHH programs.
