Michael Kashgarian, M.D. ’58, HS ’59-63, professor of pathology and biology, was lauded by the Gesellshaft für Nephrologie (the German Society of Nephrology) for his outstanding contributions to the fields of renal pathology and physiology. He was made an honorary member of the society at its meeting in September. He is the second Yale faculty member to receive this honor; Robert W. Berliner, M.D., received the award in 1986.
