Biography
Dr Bia has been practicing nephrology with an emphasis on kidney transplant for over 30 years. having received her medical degree at Cornell Medical School, she went to University of Pennsylvania for residency and first year of nephrology fellowship ant to Yale for research in renal fellowship after which she joined the faculty. Previous leadership positions include Director of Transplant Medicine (until 1998) and Director Clinical Skills Program at the medical school (1998 - 2014). She now spends her time seeing kidney transplant patients after transplant and kidney donors at Yale New Haven Transplant clinic at Yale and at at St Francis Hospital in Hartford.
