Can We ‘Use’ One Virus To Fight off Other Viruses?
Respiratory diseases are on the rise, and scientists are leaving no stone unturned to keep existing and emerging respiratory infections at bay. In a recent study published in The Lancet Microbe, researchers at Yale University found that prior exposure to rhinoviruses, which cause about a fifth of all common-cold infections, could prevent influenza viruses from setting up an infection in the same body.
