Biography

Daniel Bandeira is an interventional cardiologist currently working as an associate research scientist at the Yale Cardiovascular Research Group and training as a fellow of the Yale Advanced Intravascular Imaging and Physiology program.

He received his M.D. degree in 2015, completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2018 and his Cardiology residency in 2020. In 2023, he finished his Interventional Cardiology training and moved to the US to further expand his knowledge and continue his professional development.

Dr. Bandeira is passionate about clinical and interventional cardiology, focusing on heart failure, ischemic heart disease, complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), intravascular imaging and coronary physiology.
