Yale Crisis, Emergency and Disaster (CED) Network

    Mission Statement

The Yale Crisis, Emergency and Disaster (CED) Network is an interprofessional group of Yale faculty committed to improving health outcomes in acute illness and large-scale crises through systems development, capacity building, education and response.

Our work encompasses trauma and injury prevention, emergency medical systems strengthening, critical care (medical, surgical, and pediatric), disaster preparedness and response, and humanitarian and refugee crisis response in natural and manmade disasters, such as conflict.

Through research, education, and collaboration with global partners, the CED Network aims to advance equitable, effective, and sustainable approaches to crisis, emergency, and disaster response worldwide.

If you are interested in joining the Network, please contact Dr. Sharon Chekijian.
