The Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation (Macy Foundation) has announced a special initiative to fund demonstration projects that explore potential uses and applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical education. The program will support three demonstration projects—providing up to $100,000/year for two years—that aim to integrate rapidly evolving AI technologies into various facets of medical education. Yale School of Medicine (YSM) Internal Process
YSM’s Center for Medical Education will implement an internal process to identify the most promising projects from the school to apply for the Macy Foundation funding.
If you are interested, the following materials should be emailed to centerformeded@yale.edu by Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 11:59 p.m.:
- One-page description of the proposed project
- CVs of the principal investigator and additional team members
A decision on which projects from YSM are selected for submission to the Macy Foundation will be made by Dec. 20. If your project is selected, you will have to submit a Letter of Intent to the Macy Foundation by Monday, Feb. 3 at 5 p.m.
