Clinician Educator

The Clinician Educator Distinction provides an in-depth exposure to knowledge and experiences in medical education. As part of this distinction, residents participate in a rigorous curriculum of didactic sessions, practical workshops and teaching exercises, and a mentored scholarly project. To guide residents in each of these steps, participants are paired with a dedicated faculty advisor.

Interested residents are encouraged to apply at the beginning of their PGY-2 year. This website will serve as an overview of Clinician Educator Distinction activities; our Teams page has the most up-to-date information on upcoming didactics and opportunities. Here you will find the details of the curriculum, currently available scholarship mentors, teaching opportunities, upcoming events, and a link to the Teams page to record your credits. We thank you for your interest in our program and encourage you to reach out with any questions.
