Our Smilow Cancer Hospital Gynecologic Oncology expertise is conveniently available in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Greenwich, and Trumbull, bringing together a team of clinicians whose focus is to care for women with gynecologic cancers. Drs. Masoud Azodi, Mitchell Clark, Peter Dottino, Blair McNamara, and Katya Papatla, are board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, with a subspecialty of gynecologic oncology, uniting surgery and oncologic care to treat patients. They collaborate closely with Dr. Kathleen Fenn, medical oncologist, and Drs. Allison Campbell and Shari Damast, radiation oncologists, to provide specialized care for women diagnosed with vulvar, vaginal, cervical, uterine, fallopian tube, or ovarian cancers.
Clinical trials are available locally to patients through Yale Cancer Center, Connecticut’s only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center. Together, with leadership from Dr. Elena Ratner, Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences and Co-Chief of the Section of Gynecologic Oncology, they ensure that all patients diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer in Fairfield County are provided with exceptional care from an experienced team.
