Biography
David C. Tate is a licensed clinical psychologist, executive coach, and organizational consultant. David is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine, where he received the Distinguished Faculty Award. He is also a Lecturer at the Yale School of Management, where he teaches courses on leadership and interpersonal dynamics within both the graduate and executive education programs. He also coaches global leaders within the Yale Greenberg World Fellows Program.
He a Co-Founder and CEO at Conscious Growth Partners , a consultancy that promotes organizational thriving through better leadership, teamwork, and culture.
He is an author of Sink or Swim: How Lessons from the Titanic Can Save Your Family Business (2011, ABC-Clio) and Conscious Accountability: Deepen Connections, Elevate Results (2022, ATD Press).
David received his B.S. at Cornell University and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Virginia. He completed pre- and post-doctoral fellowships at Yale before joining the faculty.
