The Department of Internal Medicine is launching a new speaker series, “RESEARCH Medical Grand Rounds,” on the fourth Monday of each month at noon.
The series will kick off on Monday, Sept. 23, from 12-1 p.m. in Hope 103.
Speakers for the inaugural session will be:
- Ruth Montgomery, PhD, professor of medicine & epidemiology and associate dean for scientific affairs, who will discuss “Multi-OMIC System Profiling to Investigate Divergent Clinical Outcomes.”
- Tamar Taddei, MD, professor of medicine, digestive diseases, and chief, digestive diseases, VA Connecticut Health Care System, who will speak on “A PREMIUM Experience: Insights into the VA’s First National Liver Cancer Screening Trial.”
