Revealing the Cosmos: Exploring Deep Space with the Webb Telescope

The inaugural Tinsley Workshop Oct 27-29, 2024 will commemorate the intellectual legacy of our late faculty member, Prof. Beatrice Tinsley. The science theme of the workshop is JWST results on galaxies and black holes in the very early Universe, paying homage to her foundational and seminal contributions to galaxy formation. To kick-off the workshop, a public talk by Dr. Jane R. Rigby Senior Project Scientist for JWST will be held on Oct 27, 2024, 4PM at the YUAG Lecture Theater, Chapel Street.
