Biography

Rong Fan is an assistant professor of biomedical engineering at Yale University. His research helps develop nanobiotechnologies for diagnosis and personalized treatment by examining translational systems medicine for complex human diseases.

Rong Fan received his M.S. from University of Science and Technology of China and Ph.D. from University of California at Berkeley. He is a postdoctoral research fellow in the division of chemistry and chemical engineering at California Institute of Technology. Dr. Fan is the recipient of the Howard Termin Pathway to Independence Award from
the National Cancer Institute.
