John Genest

Upon graduating from Southern Connecticut State University with a BA in English, John Genest began accumulating administrative experience through several temporary positions and some within Yale, such as Receptionist in Vascular Surgery, Medical Transcriptionist in Neurology and Administrative Assistant with the Law School's Orvill Schell International Human Rights Campaign.

After serving as Executive Secretary with the law firm of Letizia, Ambrose & Falls here on Church Street and as sole Senior Administrative Assistant to the Legal Department of Save the Children's US headquarters, John returned to Yale at the School of Medicine and became Primary Care Clerkship Administrator and Senior Administrative Assistant to the Offices of Medical Education and Multicultural Affairs.

A Connecticut native all his life, John has never lived more than fifteen minutes from his parents' home (and their washer and dryer). A lover of film and pop culture and a reader and writer of fiction in his spare time, John is proudly owned by his cat Fluffy.
