Application Process
The Yale Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship currently has three fellows per year. Applications are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Please contact Lisa Arnel, Fellowship Coordinator with specific questions as below.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have completed an ACGME accredited residency program.
- Applicants from residency programs other than Internal Medicine and Family Medicine need to have a strong background with internal medicine training and skills.
- We aim to match the strengths of our program to fellow applicants to provide an optimal training program for each Yale fellow. Our Fellowship Selection Committee guides candidate ranking and selection.
The Yale program participates annually in The Match and begins to download and review applications from ERAS for each application cycle when released by ERAS. Interviews are scheduled on set dates September-November. Match results are released in in late November or early December each year.
