Biography
Anton Seyfried is a Postgraduate Associate at Yale University’s Electro-Biology and Arrhythmia Therapeutics Laboratory, where he spearheads collaborative research between Dr. Fadi Akar at Yale and Dr. Stefan Luther at the Max-Planck-Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization. With a background in medical physics, his work utilizes computer vision approaches to integrate electrophysiology, cardiac mechanics, and cardiac metabolism to advance the understanding of heart dynamics. Anton has contributed to groundbreaking optical mapping and 4D ultrasound studies and is actively involved in electrophysiological and molecular research. He holds a B.Sc. in Medical Physics from the University of Düsseldorf and has more than 4 years of extensive experience in interdisciplinary cardiac research during his time at Max Planck.
