Alan B. Silken, M.D. ’74, HS ’78, assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine and director of pediatric neurology at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Mass., is the author of “Long-Term Management of Seizure Disorders,” a chapter in Pediatrics, a textbook published last fall by Elsevier Mosby. One of the textbook editors is also a Yale alumnus, Thomas G. DeWitt, M.D., HS ’'80, the Carl Weihl Professor and director of the Division of General and Community Pediatrics and associate chair of education in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
