Steven Jonas, M.D., M.P.H. ’67, MS, has been named a fellow of the New York Academy of Sciences. Jonas, a professor of preventive medicine at the School of Medicine at Stony Brook University, has focused on preventive medicine, public health and health care delivery systems analysis and has authored, co-authored, edited and co-edited more than 20 books and published more than 135 papers in scientific journals.
