Physician Biography

Dr Golden graudated with a BS from Tufts University, then received her MD from Albany Medical College of Union University. She did her internship, residency and infectious diseases fellowship at the Deaconess Hospital (now Beth Israel-Deaconess Hospital) in Boston, MA. She practices clinical infectious diseases and is site chief for infectious diseases at the Saint Raphael Campus of Yale New Haven Hospital. She is also the Northeast Cochair of the American Academy of HIV Medicine. Dr Golden has been recognized as Research Attending of the Year twice for her work supervising medical residents on their clinical research projects. Many of these projects have focused on ensuring that patients with HIV receive adequate primary care. She has also received the John Vecchio award for outstanding clinical teacher
