David Hur attended The Johns Hopkins University, where he was a Michael Bloomberg Scholar and received his undergraduate degree majoring in Biophysics.  He completed medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine.  Dr. Hur trained in Internal Medicine at University of Virginia Medical Center, followed by Cardiovascular Medicine and Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging at Yale-New Haven Medical Center.  Subsequently, he joined the faculty in the Section of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale School of Medicine as a cardiologist and multimodality cardiac imager.  Dr. Hur is board certified in the specialty of Internal Medicine, and the subspecialties of Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
