Meng Xiao

Dr. Meng Xiao is a clinical microbiologist and Assistant Director of Department of Laboratory Medicine, Peking Union Medical College Hospital in China. His research focuses on epidemiology of fungal pathogen and their phylogeny and antimicrobial resistant mechanisms, as well as the implementation of novel laboratory tools for diagnosis of infectious diseases. He has received national and provincial research funding, and has over 50 publications as first, co-first or corresponding author. He also serves as the Secretary General for the Expert Committee of China Fungal Disease Surveillance System, National Health Commission of China.
