Rachel Lampert, MD, FACC, Robert W Berliner Professor of Medicine, is a 1983 graduate of Harvard College and received her Doctor of Medicine from Vanderbilt University in 1987. She completed training in Internal Medicine at Bellevue Hospital and New York University and was chosen as chief resident. Yale Cardiovascular Medicine then recruited her to a general cardiology and electrophysiology fellowship which she completed in 1996. She subsequently joined the faculty and was promoted to professor of medicine in 2015.
