    Biography

    Dr. Davis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine. She holds a PhD in Experimental Psychology with a concentration in Human Behavioral Pharmacology from the University of Vermont. She completed a NIDA T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship at Yale School of Medicine before being promoted to research faculty in the Department of Psychaitry. Her program of research is focused on reducing the public health harms of tobacco use via understanding the appeal, abuse liability, and sensory effects of tobacco products (e.g. e-cigarettes, cigarettes) and the impact of individual constituents (e.g., flavors, synthetics) in tobacco products on these outcomes. Additionally, Dr. Davis' work aims to understanding how characteristics, such as age and sex and behaviors, such as cannabis-tobacco co-use influence tobacco use and health outcomes.
