Genome Technology
The field of genome technology includes the development and application of high throughput experimental technologies for measuring genomic information including human genome sequencing, single cell sequencing, the recovery and analysis of ancient DNA, massively parallel reporter assays (MPRA) and CRISPR perturbation screens, genome editing, and spatial transcriptomics, among others. Most HGS faculty use these technologies and some are developing new genomic technologies for these and other data modalities.
