Regenerative Biology/Stem Cells
Stem cells are the fundamental unit of regeneration and reprogramming of cellular fate, key events that govern development, homeostasis, health and successful implementation of therapies for human disease. Many MCGD faculty study the formation, plasticity and environmental factors that influence stem cell fate and function, and the organismal regenerative response.
