The Yale BBS Development and Involvement Community (YBDIC) is committed to fostering the intellectual and personal growth of students in the BBS. Our central mission focuses on a four-pronged approach: engagement, empowerment, outreach, and advancement.

All BBS graduate students are welcome to participate in YBDIC.

Increasing diversity of experiences and perspectives within Yale BBS

ABRCMS Recruitment Tabling, 2023

The student engagement branch participates in recruitment and supports prospective students with diverse perspectives and experiences by offering guidance on the application process. Through mentoring, the branch aims to support students with the transition to graduate school.

The student outreach branch provides research experience and science communication training to community college, undergraduate, and post-bacc students with initiatives that strengthen science abilities and inspire students to pursue a Ph.D. in the future.
