    Biography

Alyssa Glennon is the Program Director and Lead Engineer at the Yale 3D Collaborative for Medical Innovation, or 3DC. She has collaborated with some of the world’s preeminent orthopaedic surgeons to create 3D virtual surgical plans and patient-specific instrumentation for use in surgery, including during the world’s first pediatric, bilateral hand transplant; the world’s first autologous elbow-to-elbow transplant; and the world’s first successful face and bilateral hand transplant for a single patient.
