Biography
Lyndsey J. Chong is a postdoctoral fellow at the Yale Child Study Center under the mentorship of Drs. Wendy Silverman, Eli Lebowitz, and Michael Crowley. She is a recipient of the T32 Fellowship in Childhood Neuropsychiatric Disorders. Her research focuses on examining neurobiological and environmental risk markers of childhood anxiety using a multimethod approach (e.g., behavioral observations, questionnaires, eye-tracking, electroencephalogram [EEG]).
Lyndsey obtained her B.A. degrees in Psychology and Economics at the University of Texas at Austin. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology at Florida State University under the mentorship of Dr. Alexandria Meyer, and was awarded with the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship during her doctoral training. She completed her clinical psychology internship at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
