Through partnership with NGOs and businesses, the Yale-China Program on Child Development will:
- Train preschool and kindergarten teachers from rural China
- Offer parenting programs for low-income families
- Provide educational facilities and resources to schools in undeveloped areas
The Yale-China Program on Child Development has established a collaborative relationship with NGOs such as NAEYC, ZERO TO THREE, and BAG Spielmobile. Additionally, the program has established cooperative research relationships with well-known companies such as Kaplan Learning.
International NGOs and Companies
July 2012, New Haven, U.S.A. The Zigler Center reached a cooperative agreement with Kaplan Learning Company. Dr. Edward Zigler joined the meeting and gave his blessing.
November 2014, Remscheid, Germany. Dr. Tong Liu lectured at the annual conference of BAG Spielmobile (Playbus).
November 2014, Remscheid, Germany. Dr. Tong Liu was interviewed by the local German news station.
August 2014, Qinghuangdao, P.R. China. Dr. Walter Gilliam and Dr. Tong Liu held parenting sessions for families.
