Ronald A. Adelman, M.D., M.P.H., associate professor of ophthalmology and visual science, was proclaimed a Knight of the Blind in June by the Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation. This is the foundation’s highest award bestowed at the state level. It was presented in recognition of Adelman’s work in ophthalmology.
