Joseph L. Renda

Joseph L. Renda, M.D. ’68, HS ’74, associate clinical professor of medicine, was given the Community Achievement Award by the National Kidney Foundation in February 2011. In addition, he received the George F. Thornton Teaching Award in November, given by the Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Physicians. Renda is the senior partner of Associated Specialists in Nephrology and Hypertension in Waterbury, Conn.
