Did you know that Yale Medicine faculty and staff are eligible to join Yale New Haven Health’s livingwell Fitness Center?

Membership in the state-of-the-art fitness center is open to all employees of the Yale School of Medicine (including the school’s clinical practice, Yale Medicine). The membership fee is $32 a month and there is no minimum commitment or contract requirement.

The center, located at 48 York St. (under the Air Rights Garage), includes a large exercise floor with cardio and strength-training equipment, as well as free weight and stretching areas; two group exercise classrooms, including one dedicated to cycling; a variety of classes for all fitness levels; locker rooms with showers and day storage lockers; towel service; a consultation room for private fitness assessments and nutritional counseling; and personal training (extra fee).

Fitness Center hours are Monday through Friday from 5:00AM–9:00PM, and Saturday from 8:00AM– 4:00PM (Please note: During July and August, the Fitness Center closes at 8:00PM on Fridays)
