Dr. Branden Cord - LINNC SEMINAR 2016 NYC

March 19, 2016

Dr. Branden Cord, a 4th year neurosurgical resident and in-folded endovascular neurosurgery fellow, recently presented the opening oral presentation at the Live International Neuroradiology and Neurosurgery Course (LINNC) in NYC (March 18-19, 2016). His abstract was among the “Top 8” selected for oral presentation at this international meeting. It was entitled, “Rescue maneuver for failure to open of proximal end of Pipeline Embolization Device,” a next-generation flow diverter for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms. Congratulations to Branden! His project was supervised by Dr. Charles Matouk, Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging, and reflects the growth in the Neurovascular Program for the treatment of the most complex neurovascular disease.
